Mobility Beyond Cars: Transforming Commercial Transportation

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
10:30am–12:30pm PT

Passenger vehicles have driven much of today's automotive semiconductor innovation—but they are only part of the mobility landscape. This session explores how trucking and commercial transportation are creating new demands for semiconductors through electrification, automation, and connectivity. Expert speakers will examine the unique compute, sensing, power, and safety requirements of commercial vehicles, along with challenges such as battery range, high-power charging, and fleet operations. Discussions will also address how logistics providers and freight operators are adopting these technologies to improve efficiency and resilience. For the semiconductor industry, commercial transportation represents a rapidly growing market with distinct technical requirements that will shape the next generation of automotive silicon and system architectures.

Mobility Beyond Cars: Intelligent Automation Across Land and Air

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
1:00–4:00pm PT

Building on the commercial mobility themes of the morning, this session explores how semiconductors are enabling intelligent automation across transportation and logistics. Expert speakers will discuss the compute platforms powering physical AI, robotics, autonomous delivery systems, drones, and eVTOL aircraft, highlighting how advances in sensing, AI acceleration, connectivity, and functional safety are expanding mobility beyond traditional vehicles. Perspectives from technology developers and logistics leaders will illustrate how robots, autonomous systems, and aerial platforms are becoming integral to future supply chains. Together, these talks examine emerging applications that are creating new opportunities—and new design challenges—for the semiconductor industry as mobility evolves into a connected ecosystem of intelligent machines.
