Ramesh Ramadoss received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA in 2003. From Jun. 2003 to Dec. 2007, he was employed as an Assistant Professor at Auburn University, Auburn, AL. Between 2008 and 2016, he was employed as an Engineering Manager or Director in Silicon Valley companies. Currently, he is the President & CEO of BitCasas Inc., a blockchain startup in Silicon Valley. He has conducted projects for DARPA, NASA, US Army, US Air Force, Sandia National Labs, and Motorola Labs. He is the author or coauthor of 1 book, 3 book chapters and 55 research papers. He has delivered talks at over 40 international conferences. He has served as the Chair of several conferences, workshops, and special sessions. In 2017, he served as the Chair of the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section. Currently, he is a Co-chair of the IEEE Blockchain Initiative. Also, he serves as the Chair of the IEEE P2418.1 Blockchain Standards Working Group.
