Max has a Master of Science degree in Mechatronics and Engineering Product Design. He started his career in 1987 by starting his own engineering firm. After selling his share in the company, he started to work for ASM International as System Engineer and later as Principal engineer. In the recession year 2010 he made the switch to Festo where he is now working in the Global Industry Unit for Electronics and Light Assembly as a Senior System Architect. He is active in the field of Semiconductor equipment applications, working closely together with the architects from the customers. He is also a member of the Semi SCIS group that is aiming to reduce contamination in Gas Delivery Systems by investigating contaminating elements in the components that are used in these systems (like valves).
