Jim Mulready has been head of Quality Assurance for JSR Micro since 2007. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of both product and business process quality, as well as alignment and shared learning among multiple JSR Member Companies around the world. Prior to joining JSR Micro, he spent 7 years as the Quality Systems Manager for Intel’s Fab Materials Operation. He was responsible for the quality performance and continuous improvement of approximately 60 key suppliers of silicon, chemicals, gases, etc. to Intel’s world-wide network of wafer fabs. From 1984 to 1999, Jim held a variety of Engineering positions at Intel including Fab Process Engineer, Microcontamination Engineer, Materials Engineer, etc. He is the recipient of an Intel Achievement Award (for ultraclean design and construction of the D2 Fab in 1988) as well as four Intel TMG Excellence Awards. Jim holds degrees in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality.
