Dileep Bhandarkar, formerly from Qualcomm where he was most recently Vice President of Technology for Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies, working in development for next-generation server platforms. He was previously Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft, responsible for cloud server hardware and datacenter infrastructure for Global Foundation Services. Earlier, he directed advanced architecture in the CTO Office of Intel’s Digital Enterprise Group, establishing architecture direction for new workstation business and defining microprocessor products. He holds 16 U.S. patents and wrote the book Alpha Implementations and Architecture. He is an IEEE Fellow and in 1998 was recognized as a distinguished alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he received his B. Tech in electrical engineering. He also has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
