Daniel Green, PhD

Program Manager Microsystems Technology Office
DARPA

Dr. Daniel Green has been a program manager at DARPA since March 2013 where he runs multiple efforts developing electronic devices and advancing heterogeneous integration for sensing, communications and EW systems. He came to DARPA from the Office of Naval Research (ONR), where he managed both fundamental and applied research programs in the areas of electronic materials and devices.

Prior to government service, Dr. Green worked on the commercial development of Gallium Nitride technology at RF Micro Devices (now Qorvo) from 2003 to 2009.  He advanced GaN transistor technology there for amplifier applications to both the commercial and defense markets and helped drive the technology development from the materials growth to the initial one-million-hour reliability assessment, which led to the commercial release.
