Exhibitor Housing opens on November 1, 2017.
On-site assigning will be held during SEMICON West 2018 for SEMICON West 2019. Your company's assignment date and time will be emailed in June 2018.

Exhibit Package Solutions
Decorated Space: Pipe-and-Drape packages are for exhibitors with existing exhibit hardware (such as "pop-up" displays or banners) and who do not need hard wall construction. Includes pipe-and-drape decoration, carpet, furnishings, and electrical service. Option available to include 200 lbs. of drayage (material handling).
Decorated Space: Hard wall (standard) packages are for exhibitors who need a turnkey solution up to 30 linear feet including hard wall structure, carpet, furnishings, and electrical service. Option available to include 200 lbs. of drayage.

As the official service contractor, Freeman is the exclusive provider of freight handling at show site
Material Handling (Drayage) is the movement of freight material from the loading dock to the booth space. The union has jurisdiction over all unloading and reloading of materials. The union also has jurisdiction over the operation of all material handling equipment – this includes all dollies and hand trucks. You may hand carry what you can manage by yourself (one person) in one trip, using no equipment. Current union jurisdiction precludes hotel personnel from delivering material to exhibit booths.
Material Handling should not be confused with the cost to transport your exhibit material to-and-from the convention center or exposition. While often included in the overall shopping costs when exhibiting in countries outside the United States, material handling is billed as as separate charge in the United States.
By definition, the installation or dismantling of exhibits which requires the use of hand tools, or takes one person more than 30 minutes, or exceeds ten feet in any direction, falls within the jurisdiction of the union.
California is a mandatory union state, which means that all labor contracted to work at SEMICON West for an hourly wage must be part of a union organized recognized in California. San Francisco jurisdictions prevail over all installing and dismantling of exhibits; this does not apply to the unpacking and placement of merchandise.
The maximum height for all configurations, including all booth elements such as truss and signage is 20 feet / 6 meters, with exceptions as noted on the floor plans
This rule allows exhibitors to make maximum use of their booth space. There are no site line restrictions for booth structures at SEMICON West. Under the cubic content rule, each exhibitor may build right up to the front of his booth, up to the maximum allowable height of 20 feet / 6 meters, with exceptions as noted on the floor plans
Show Management must approve all hanging signs for inline booths. Send drawing to SEMI at email: email@example.com for an official approval.
Engineering drawings must accompany signage on-site and be available in booth.
All hanging signs should be sent to the Advance Warehouse by June 21, 2018
EDC stands for Exhibitor Designated Contractor. An EDC (a.k.a., EAC (Exhibitor Appointed Contractor)) is any company (other than one of the official designated contractors) that an exhibitor wants to use inside the exhibit hall before, during or after the show. Submit your EDC Application by June 9, 2017 through the eBooth /Exhibitor Console which opens in February 12, 2018

Exhibit Managers have access to an Exhibitor Registration Portal to register booth staff. Booth staff will receive an email confirmation when entered

Each primary exhibitor company is allotted a limited number of badges. Exhibitors can order up to 5 badges for every 100 square feet of booth space. PLEASE NOTE: If you have exceeded your complimentary badge allotment but need to register additional booth personnel, badges are available for purchase for $50 USD each
Badges can be picked up onsite at registration beginning on July 5 at 8:00am in Level 1 Lobby of Moscone South
Attendee registration will open on March 15, 2018
Exhibitors can send an unlimited number of Exhibitor Guest Passes to their customers at a discouted rate of $75/each.

If cancelled on or before March 9, 2018, a cancellation fee of 30% of the cancelled space will be assessed by SEMI.
If cancelled after March 9, 2018, a cancellation fee of 100% of the cancelled space will be assessed by SEMI.
