    Frequently Asked Question
    When will the Exhibitor Services Manual be available?
    Exhibitor Services Manuals will be available by the beginning of April. One manual will be mailed to each primary exhibiting company. Exhibitors requiring additional copies for their EAC's and/or colleagues can access the entire manual through Freeman Online, available in April 2008.

    If you do not need a printed manual and would prefer to use the online version, please contact Leslie Schade at lschade@semi.org / Tel: 1.408.943.6978.

    In the meantime, the SEMICON West 2007 Rules and Regulations are available on-line for your pre-show planning.

    Audit Report and Visitor Survey—Numbers are in! Accurate audience data is critical to any successful marketing and sales program and SEMI is providing this information through the SEMICON West 2007 Audit Report produced by BPA Worldwide and Exhibit Surveys. The report enables exhibitors to develop marketing strategies with confidence and is based on data compiled from the BPA audit and Event Insights survey data conducted during and after SEMICON West 2007. Review the report now and identify new opportunities for your company at SEMICON West 2008.

    SmartBooth Exhibitor Portal opens February 19th Exhibitors can expect to receive an email from SEMI detailing the SmartBooth Exhibitor Portal process. These email will contain pertinent information about what your SmartBooth can do for you—and also contains important information on:

    • How to set-up your complimentary SmartBooth Exhibitor Portal.
    • Co-Exhibitor Forms.
    • Key milestone dates in the SmartBooth and printed SEMICON West Event Directory process.

    MPO's: So Much More Than A Company Name
    Event Marketing Opportunities (EMO's) at SEMICON West 2008 are categorized most often as "branding" or "messaging" opportunities. Your company may be so well known that putting your name on a banner or badge insert (branding) may be sufficient to remind attendees of your SEMICON West presence. For many of you, though, it might be better to have an EMO that has room for a message, such as ad panels or stair stickers, which offer space for direction "Visit us in booth 100"), a company slogan ("Our service is tops") or a call to action ("Log on for solutions, at www.bestcompany.com"). A few of the 2008 Marketing Promotional Opportunities are: banners, stairway advertising strips, registration lanyards, escalator decals and attendee show bags.
